Samsung rolls out limited-edition Galaxy A36 and A56—and trims the price tags

Samsung is freshening up its mid-range lineup in India with limited edition colors and sizable price cuts for the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A56 5G. If you’ve been eyeing either phone, this could be the best time to upgrade.

The Galaxy A36 5G now comes in a striking Awesome Lime limited edition finish, joining the existing Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White options. Note that Awesome Lime is exclusive to the 8GB RAM variants with 128GB or 256GB of storage. The 12GB RAM + 256GB configuration remains available only in Black and Lavender.

The Galaxy A56 5G also gets a fresh coat of paint with a limited edition Awesome Pink, adding to its original palette of Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Lightgray. This Awesome Pink option is exclusive to the top-tier model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Alongside the new colors, Samsung has reduced prices during its Fab Grab Fest promotion. The Galaxy A36 5G now starts at ₹25,999 (~$293/€251), down from its ₹32,999 (~$372/€319) launch price—a cut of ₹7,000. The Galaxy A56 5G is priced at ₹35,999 (~$406/€346), reflecting a ₹6,000 drop from its starting price. These new prices go live at 3 PM IST on September 27. For reference, the Galaxy A36 8GB/128GB variant currently sells for around $374.99 in the US.

If you want a bold, fresh look without stepping into flagship pricing, the limited edition Awesome Lime and Awesome Pink finishes make the Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A56 5G stand out. Just be sure to choose the right RAM and storage configuration, as these new colors are tied to specific variants.
