According to documentation from China’s certification body, the Galaxy S26 Ultra (listed under the SM-S948 series) has been approved for up to 60W wired charging, rated at 20V/3A. If this holds for the retail device, it would mark a noticeable step forward for Samsung’s top-tier phone, especially for buyers who prioritize faster top-ups during the day.
The same wave of information also suggests the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be powered globally by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a detail that will likely matter to fans tracking performance and efficiency improvements year over year. On the accessories side, the device is expected to support a wide range of Qi2-compatible add-ons, signaling broader support for the latest wireless charging ecosystem and magnetic-style accessory options that many users want for easier in-car mounts, stands, and chargers.
Samsung also appears to be preparing for this charging bump with new hardware of its own. The company has started listing a compatible single-port USB-C charger, the EP-T6010NBEGWW, across multiple regional storefronts, with a listed price around €52.90 (about $62).
