After its initial unveiling two months prior, and subsequent price announcement last month, customers can now acquire the device for $548.99 through the official Samsung website and selected channel partners. Samsung offers both LTE and 5G variants to cater to different connectivity needs.

The enterprise version adds value with an extra year of warranty beyond the standard one-year coverage and includes the complimentary Knox Suite. Powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity, which is expandable via microSD card, the Galaxy Tab Active 5 runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.0. Samsung commits to four major Android OS updates along with the extended period of security updates. The tablet’s imaging capabilities include a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, supporting 4K video recording on the rear and 1080p on the front.

Connectivity is a strong point for the Galaxy Tab Active 5, which has options for 4G/5G, dual-SIM support (nano-SIM + eSIM), GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and even a 3.5mm headphone jack. Another significant aspect is the 5,050mAh battery backed by 15W fast charging and the presence of pogo pins that enable charging and connection to docking stations.
