Samsung has unveiled its latest addition to the budget-friendly F series—the Galaxy F36 5G. Building on the success of last year’s Galaxy F34, this new model brings a fresh aesthetic with a stylish leather pattern design on the back.
The camera setup mirrors that of its predecessor, featuring a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. The device measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 197 grams, making it both sleek and light.
Under the hood, the Galaxy F36 5G is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 chipset, paired with options of 6 or 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage with expandable memory via a microSD card. The smartphone sports a vivid 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Fueling this device is a robust 5,000 mAh battery, which supports 25 W wired charging. On the software front, it comes pre-installed with Android 15-based OneUI 7. Samsung is offering an impressive commitment to longevity with six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
The Galaxy F36 5G also features a range of convenient technologies, such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP67 water resistance, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, and GPS.
Available in striking coral red, luxe violet, and onyx black faux leather finishes, the Galaxy F36 5G starts at INR 17,499 ($203) for the 6 GB RAM model, while the 8 GB version costs INR 18,999 ($220).
