Samsung has recently updated its Global Goals app with a new feature that provides users who support and donate to the initiative with special “Thank you gifts.” This feature presents exclusive wallpapers designed for Galaxy smartphones and smartwatches to users as a token of appreciation for their contributions.
The Global Goals app, developed in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), educates the Galaxy community about the Global Goals, a set of objectives set by the UN to be accomplished by 2030.
Galaxy device owners can contribute to these objectives through the app, thereby accelerating progress towards these goals. As a gesture of gratitude, Samsung is now offering a new Thank-you Gifts feature to participants.
Limited-Time Wallpapers for Global Goals Supporters
The newly introduced Thank-you Gifts feature allows users of the Global Goals app to access limited-time wallpapers. The first rollout includes three distinct wallpaper collections and corresponding watch faces tailored for the Galaxy Watch.
These creatively designed wallpapers bring attention to various endangered species and ecosystems, showcasing the likes of rhinos, sea turtles, whale sharks, sea otters, coral reefs, and grasslands.
Samsung is providing all users who interact with the Global Goals app the chance to download a special, time-bound wallpaper or watch face at no cost. Those who go further and make a donation via the app can unlock even more unique designs. Samsung plans to introduce additional wallpaper collections as the year progresses.
