Rixel’s Titanium Multi-Tool Pry Bar Packs Everyday Carry Features Into a Pocket-Sized Design
Rixel is rethinking the classic pry bar with a compact titanium everyday carry tool that blends utility, portability, and a bit of mechanical fun. Designed for people who like to keep practical tools close at hand, the Rixel multi-tool pry bar combines a rotating screwdriver bit chamber with a wide range of useful functions, all in a slim pocket-friendly body.
The tool’s most eye-catching feature is its revolver-style rotating bit holder. It stores six magnetic screwdriver bits and allows users to spin the chamber and select a bit quickly using their thumb. This makes it more convenient than carrying loose bits or a separate compact screwdriver set, especially for quick repairs, adjustments, and daily tasks.
The titanium version measures 6.29 inches long and weighs just under 90 grams, or about 3.17 ounces. That makes it light enough for everyday carry while still offering the strength and durability associated with titanium tools. Rixel is also offering a stainless-steel version, though it is noticeably heavier.
While rotating bit chambers have appeared in other compact tools before, Rixel’s design stands out because of how many features it fits into one piece of gear. Along with the six-bit storage system, the pry bar includes top and side screwdriver ports, stepped wrench openings from 2 mm to 11 mm, a dedicated spoke wrench, a bottle opener, a box cutter, a pry bar tip, a dual metric and imperial ruler, and a pocket clip.
There is also a carabiner or keychain attachment point, making it easy to clip the tool onto a bag, belt loop, or key setup. For users who want better visibility in low-light conditions, the design includes six slots for optional tritium tubes. A thumb-operated slider adds a fidget-style element, giving the tool a tactile feature beyond its practical uses.
Rixel’s compact pry bar is currently being funded through a crowdfunding campaign, and interest has been strong. The project set a modest funding goal of $3,000 but has already passed that target by more than 1,000%, reaching over $30,000 in pledges.
Early-bird pricing starts at $69 for the stainless-steel model and $89 for the titanium version. Planned retail pricing is expected to be $149 for stainless steel and $189 for titanium. Optional add-ons, including tritium tubes and a leather case, are available at an extra cost.
Shipping is currently planned for December. However, as with any crowdfunded product, buyers should keep in mind that there are risks. Final products can change, delivery may be delayed, and there is always a chance that a campaign may not deliver exactly as expected.
