Retroid Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite accessories arrive with grip case, charger, screen protectors, and more
Retroid has expanded its lineup for the new Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite with a fresh selection of official accessories designed to protect the dual-screen handhelds, improve comfort, and make travel easier. With pre-orders now open for both devices, buyers can also add practical extras such as a grip case with stylus, screen protectors, a carrying case, a compact 35W charger, and branded lanyards.
One of the most notable additions is the official Grip Case with Stylus. Since the Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite feature flat backs, the grip case gives users a more comfortable way to hold the handhelds during longer gaming sessions. Unlike some other Retroid devices that offer a replaceable grip-style rear shell, these dual-screen models rely on the external case for added ergonomics.
The Grip Case with Stylus is priced at $15 and comes in five color options: Black, Clear Purple, Ice Blue, GC, and Transparent. While the case colors vary, the included stylus is black across all versions. For players who plan to use the dual screens frequently, the stylus could be a useful addition for menu navigation, touchscreen controls, and compatible games.
Retroid is also offering dedicated screen protector packs for both handhelds. Even though the Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite do not use an all-glass front design, protecting both displays is still a smart idea, especially since Retroid has not specified whether the screens include built-in scratch or drop protection.
The screen protector pack costs $6. For the Pocket Duo, the bundle includes a 5.5-inch anti-reflective film and a 4.5-inch tempered glass protector. For the Pocket Duo Lite, the pack includes a 5.5-inch anti-reflective film and a 4.2-inch tempered glass protector. These accessories should help reduce glare on the main display while adding extra protection to the secondary screen.
For users who plan to carry their handheld around, Retroid has introduced a one-size carrying case compatible with both the Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite. The case comes in black and includes an inner pocket for small accessories such as a USB charging cable, wired earphones, or a compact charger. It is available now for $10, making it one of the more affordable accessories in the lineup.
Retroid has also launched a 35W dual-port charger that works with the Pocket Duo, Pocket Duo Lite, and other Retroid handheld gaming devices. The charger includes both USB-C and USB-A ports, offering flexible charging options for users with multiple cables or devices.
When using only the USB-C port, the charger delivers up to 35W. When using only the USB-A port, it provides up to 18W. If both ports are used at the same time, each port is capped at 15W. The charger also features foldable plugs, which makes it easier to pack inside the carrying case or a travel bag. It is priced at $12.
Rounding out the accessory lineup is an official Retroid lanyard. Available in white, purple, and black, the lanyard features Retroid branding and is compatible with several of the company’s handhelds, including the Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite. It is available now for $3.
Overall, the new Retroid Pocket Duo and Pocket Duo Lite accessories give buyers a more complete setup from day one. The grip case improves comfort, the screen protectors help guard the dual displays, the carrying case adds travel protection, and the dual-port charger offers a convenient way to power up at home or on the go. For anyone planning to pre-order either handheld, these official accessories may be worth considering as part of the launch bundle.
