Realme P4x 4G debuts with massive 8,000mAh battery, 120Hz display, and 256GB storage
Realme has introduced the P4x 4G in Malaysia, expanding its budget smartphone lineup with a device focused on long battery life, smooth visuals, and generous storage at an affordable price. The new model arrives as a 4G alternative to the previously launched P4x 5G, but it stands out with an even larger battery.
The biggest highlight of the Realme P4x 4G is its huge 8,000mAh battery. For users who want a phone that can last through long workdays, travel, streaming, gaming, and social media use without constantly searching for a charger, this battery capacity is a major selling point. Realme has also included 45W fast charging through USB-C, helping reduce downtime when the phone needs a top-up.
On the front, the Realme P4x 4G features a large 6.8-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1,570 pixels and offers up to 700 nits of typical brightness. While it is not a high-end panel, the 120Hz refresh rate should make scrolling, animations, and everyday navigation feel smoother than standard 60Hz displays commonly found in budget phones.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12nm process. The processor includes two Arm Cortex-A75 performance cores and six Arm Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, aiming to balance everyday performance with battery efficiency. This setup should be suitable for regular tasks such as messaging, browsing, video playback, social media, and light gaming.
For photography, the Realme P4x 4G comes with a 50MP rear camera that supports 1080p video recording at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera for video calls and basic selfies. The camera system is simple, but the 50MP main sensor gives the phone a competitive spec on paper for its price range.
The phone also includes several practical features that budget smartphone buyers often appreciate. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio, microSD card support for expandable storage, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking. These features make the device more convenient for users who want flexibility without spending extra on accessories or cloud storage.
In terms of design, the Realme P4x 4G measures 8.78mm thick and weighs 219 grams. It is available in two color options: Rally White and Phantom Blue. Given the large 8,000mAh battery inside, the weight is expected, but it may still appeal to buyers who prioritize endurance over a slim and lightweight build.
The smartphone runs realme UI based on Android 16, giving users access to a modern Android experience with Realme’s custom features and interface enhancements.
The Realme P4x 4G is available in Malaysia in a single configuration with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is priced at RM 799, which is approximately $193.
With its large battery, 120Hz display, 256GB storage, expandable memory, headphone jack, and affordable price, the Realme P4x 4G is clearly aimed at users who want a dependable budget phone for everyday use. For buyers who value battery life above all else, this model could be one of Realme’s most practical low-cost releases.
