Realme Narzo 100x 5G Debuts in India With 8,000mAh Battery, 144Hz Display and Dimensity 6300 Chip

Realme has introduced the Narzo 100x 5G in India, strengthening its budget 5G smartphone lineup with a device focused on battery life, smooth visuals and everyday performance. The new handset stands out with a huge 8,000mAh battery, a 144Hz display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor, making it an attractive option for users who want a long-lasting phone without moving into premium pricing.

The Realme Narzo 100x 5G arrives in two color options: Flash Orange and Midnight Black. Its biggest highlight is clearly the battery, with Realme claiming up to three days of use on a single charge. For users who stream videos, browse social media, play games or rely heavily on mobile data, the large battery could be one of the phone’s strongest selling points.

Charging support is also practical. The phone features 45W fast charging, along with 27W reverse wired charging, allowing it to power other compatible devices when needed. Realme has also included bypass charging, a feature designed to reduce heat buildup during gaming by sending power directly to the phone instead of continuously charging the battery.

On the front, the Narzo 100x 5G features a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This should make scrolling, animations and supported games feel smoother than standard 60Hz panels. The screen also offers up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, which should help improve outdoor visibility.

Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. While it is positioned in the budget segment, the hardware should be suitable for daily tasks such as messaging, web browsing, video streaming, navigation and casual gaming.

For photography, the Realme Narzo 100x 5G includes a 50MP main rear camera. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera for video calls, selfies and social media use. The camera setup is simple, but it covers the essentials expected from a value-focused 5G smartphone.

Realme has also added a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system, which should help manage temperatures during extended gaming sessions or heavy multitasking. The phone also comes with an IP-rated body and MIL-STD-810H certification, giving it added durability for day-to-day use.

On the software side, the Narzo 100x 5G runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. This gives buyers access to the latest Android experience, along with Realme’s custom features and interface enhancements.

In India, the Realme Narzo 100x 5G starts at INR 20,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at INR 22,999, while the top-end 6GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs INR 24,999.

At launch, the Realme Narzo 100x 5G is exclusive to the Indian market. Realme has not yet confirmed whether the phone will be released globally.

With its massive 8,000mAh battery, 144Hz display, 5G connectivity, fast charging and durable design, the Realme Narzo 100x 5G is aimed at buyers who want a dependable budget smartphone built for long usage and smooth everyday performance.
