Oppo or Vivo could finally take the fight to Samsung and Xiaomi on a truly global stage. According to well-known tipsters, at least one of the two brands plans to launch its next Ultra-branded flagship worldwide—either the Oppo Find X9 Ultra or the Vivo X300 Ultra.
Until now, most Ultra phones from Chinese makers have been confined to their home market. Samsung and Xiaomi remain the only brands consistently selling Ultra-tier flagships across many regions, with the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 Ultra widely available through official channels. Oppo and Vivo both offer current Ultra models, but international buyers have typically been left waiting—or importing.
That may change in the coming cycle. On X (formerly Twitter), leaker Kartikey Singh claimed that either Oppo or Vivo will make its next Ultra device a global release. Another reliable source, @chunvn8888, narrowed it down further, suggesting Oppo is the one preparing a worldwide debut in Q1 2026. If accurate, that points to the Find X9 Ultra going international less than a year after the Find X8 Ultra’s April 2025 launch—despite strong indications that the Find X8 Ultra itself won’t be sold globally.
Here’s how the roadmap is shaping up based on the latest chatter:
– Late this year: Oppo and Vivo are expected to kick off their next flagship lines with non-Ultra models—Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, plus Vivo X300 and X300 Pro.
– Early 2026: An Ultra-branded model—most likely Oppo’s Find X9 Ultra—could see an official global rollout.
Why it matters:
– Broader availability would give buyers outside China more choice at the very top end of Android phones, especially in camera-first devices where Ultra models often shine.
– A global Ultra from Oppo or Vivo could apply new pressure on Samsung and Xiaomi, potentially leading to more aggressive pricing and faster feature rollouts worldwide.
For now, details remain scarce and plans could shift. Expect firmer information to surface toward the end of the year as Oppo and Vivo finalize their launch calendars.
