Oppo has unveiled the A6 Pro in China, a follow-up to December 2024’s A5 Pro, and it brings meaningful upgrades where they matter most. Headlining the changes is a huge 7,000 mAh battery with 80 W wired fast charging, a significant bump from the previous model’s 6,000 mAh cell. Durability and thermals are standout talking points. The A6 Pro carries a rare triple IP rating of IP69, IP68, and IP66, indicating strong resistance to dust, water, and high-pressure jets. It also features a 4,300 mm² vapor chamber for improved cooling during sustained performance, along with Oppo Crystal Shield glass for added front protection. An in-display fingerprint sensor and NFC round out the convenience features.
The Oppo A6 Pro comes in Black Jade, Gold, and Blue. Pricing in China starts at 1,799 yuan for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant, with the top-end 16 GB + 512 GB model priced at 2,499 yuan. Pre-orders are live in China through Oppo’s online store, with open sales beginning on September 12.
