OnePlus Pad Lite: Unveiling an Affordable Android Tablet in India with 90 Hz Display and Massive 9,340 mAh Battery

OnePlus has unveiled the Pad Lite, an exciting addition to its tablet lineup, now available in India. This new model follows the OnePlus Pad Go, delivering notable enhancements in both processing power and battery life.

The Pad Lite is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, a step up from its predecessor’s Helio G99, and offers options of 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. However, potential buyers should note the absence of a microSD card slot, which limits storage expansion.

One of the standout features is its upgraded battery, which now holds a capacity of 9,340 mAh, an improvement over the previous model’s 8,000 mAh, and supports 33W wired charging. This ensures extended use and faster recharges.

The tablet boasts an 11-inch LCD display with a crisp resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, covering 70.8% of the NTSC color space. Users will appreciate the 500 nits peak brightness and a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the display is slightly smaller than the previous 11.35 inches of the Pad Go.

Running on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, the Pad Lite promises a seamless experience for up to three years. However, specific software update policies remain unspecified. The camera system sees a downgrade, now featuring 5 MP sensors on both the front and rear, compared to the Pad Go’s 8 MP cameras.

Additional features include IP42 dust and water resistance, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and quad speakers providing Hi-Res audio, with support for SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC.

The OnePlus Pad Lite is offered in a sleek aero blue color. Pricing starts at INR 15,999 for the Wi-Fi model with 6GB RAM, while the 8GB LTE model is available for INR 17,999. Sales begin on August 1, 2025, through OnePlus India’s official site and select retailers.
