NVIDIA is expanding what developers can do with AI-powered graphics and performance, rolling out the new DLSS 4.5 Streamline SDK to help studios integrate the latest DLSS features into upcoming PC games. The update brings the newest second-generation transformer AI models to a wider range of projects, aiming to make it faster and easier to ship improved image quality, smoother frame rates, and more advanced ray-traced visuals.
At the center of this release is DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, a feature designed to make frame generation feel more natural on different displays. By allowing the generated-frame mode to better align with a player’s monitor refresh rate, Dynamic MFG helps deliver a consistently smooth experience without forcing a one-size-fits-all setting. DLSS 4.5 also continues to refine the core pillars that PC players care about most: sharper upscaling through Super Resolution improvements, stronger Frame Generation behavior, and upgraded Ray Reconstruction for better-looking ray-traced effects.
Because the SDK is built on Streamline, developers get a more consistent integration path across DLSS features. That matters in practice: studios can adopt the parts they need, whether that’s Super Resolution, Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, or Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, without having to rebuild their rendering pipeline around a single all-or-nothing solution. For game teams trying to balance visual ambition with performance targets across a wide range of PC hardware, that flexibility is a big win.
Alongside the SDK release, NVIDIA also highlighted a fresh wave of games adding DLSS features and updates through the NVIDIA app.
CAPCOM’s PRAGMATA is positioned as a major showcase for high-end PC visuals. Set on a lunar research station gone silent after humanity’s breakthroughs with Lunam Ore and a replication-capable material called Lunafilament, the game follows spacefarer Hugh Williams and android Diana as they confront a hostile AI controlling the facility. On GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, the PC version is set to feature path-traced effects, with performance and responsiveness aided by DLSS Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and NVIDIA Reflex.
Blue Dot Games’ ’83 arrives in Early Access on April 23, offering a realistic but accessible online first-person tactical shooter where players can fight for NATO or Warsaw Pact forces. It includes DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and DLSS 4 Super Resolution out of the box, and RTX 50 Series owners can use the NVIDIA app to upgrade to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and the DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation 6X mode for higher image quality and improved performance.
Hotta Studio’s NTE (Neverness to Everness) is another notable addition, built in Unreal Engine 5 with a seamless open world set in the city of Hethereau, where humans live alongside supernatural anomalies. The game launches in China on April 23 and expands to other regions on April 29, bringing DLSS and path tracing support. In the launch version, DLSS Super Resolution is aimed at boosting frame rates for RTX users, DLSS Ray Reconstruction is intended to enhance the look of path-traced effects, and DLSS Multi Frame Generation targets major performance gains for RTX 50 Series players.
For players returning to Atomic Heart, the game’s fourth and final DLC, Blood on Crystal, closes out the story. Since the base game launched in 2023, it has supported NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and ray tracing, and now the NVIDIA app enables an upgrade of the full experience to DLSS 4.5. That brings DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution improvements and the DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation 6X mode for GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, pushing performance higher while enhancing overall image quality.
Strategy fans also get an update with Sudden Strike 5, launching April 23 with a 25-mission campaign set on World War II battlefields across Europe and North Africa, plus more than 300 playable units. In both the full game and its Steam demo, players can enable DLSS Super Resolution to raise frame rates or use DLAA to prioritize image quality.
NVIDIA also called out a new GeForce Rewards drop tied to Marvel Rivals Season 7.5, continuing the storyline after Spider-Man and Black Cat’s “Trojan Horse” plan. With DLSS Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution enabled, NVIDIA says players can see frame rate boosts of up to 5X, while NVIDIA Reflex can reduce PC latency by up to 55%. To mark the season launch, an exclusive Thor Midgard Umber costume is available through GeForce Rewards in the NVIDIA app.
Beyond mainstream game releases, NVIDIA is also pushing forward on the modding and remastering front with its RTX Remix suite. Announced at GDC 2026, a new Advanced Particle VFX system is being added to enable fully path-traced particles, giving modders and developers tools to replace legacy particle effects with dramatically more modern visuals. The system supports dynamic animations so creators can shape how effects evolve over a particle’s lifetime, enhanced physics simulation with complex gravitational effects (including attraction, repulsion, and wind-driven movement), and randomized elements for more varied and surprising results.
The feature was initially demonstrated using Quake III Arena RTX created by WoodBoy, and NVIDIA says the new systems are now reaching even more users. For anyone working on visual overhauls, RTX Remix’s path-traced particle effects could become one of the most noticeable upgrades, especially in classic titles where older particle tech tends to stand out.
With the DLSS 4.5 Streamline SDK now available, NVIDIA is clearly aiming to accelerate adoption across both new releases and updates to existing games, pairing smarter AI models with practical tools developers can integrate without unnecessary friction. For PC players, that usually translates to the upgrades that matter most: cleaner image quality, higher performance, and ray-traced visuals that look more convincing while staying playable at higher resolutions.
