NVIDIA Confirms GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Release Slated for February 20

NVIDIA is gearing up to expand its GeForce RTX 50 series line-up with the upcoming release of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. Scheduled to begin shipping on February 20, this latest addition is stirring excitement among tech enthusiasts. The announcement came through a recent post confirming the coordination with board partners to launch custom editions of the RTX 5070 Ti alongside its standard version.

Marking 6 AM Pacific Time as the go-live moment on February 20, NVIDIA will also be making this powerful GPU available through system integrators. This synchronized release with pre-built systems promises to bring the advanced capabilities of the RTX 5070 Ti to more consumers.

Speculation and anticipation have been building around this launch, driven by earlier leaks. The RTX 5070 Ti will boast impressive specs, featuring a trimmed GB203 die, 8960 CUDA Cores, and a robust 16 GB of GDDR7 VRAM configured on a 256-bit bus. Not to mention, it will operate at a TDP of 300W. NVIDIA gave tech enthusiasts a sneak peek of this GPU at CES, where all its specifications were laid out in detail.

Interestingly, this latest GPU model is set to succeed the RTX 4070 Ti, offering a more appealing launch price of $699, which is $50 cheaper than its predecessor’s initial price point. Despite being priced lower, initial performance leaks suggest that it could rival the abilities of the RTX 4080/Super, although these insights primarily stem from synthetic benchmarks.

As thrilled as consumers are, there’s a note of caution. Many recall the elusive availability of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, which remained hard to catch even two weeks post-launch. Nonetheless, the RTX 5070 Ti is expected to be more accessible. Following this release, NVIDIA’s roadmap indicates further additions to its RTX 50 series, with the GeForce RTX 5070 anticipated next month, followed by the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 in April. This steady roll-out highlights NVIDIA’s commitment to keeping its cutting-edge innovations within reach.
