Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor DLC is out now with new story chapters, Free Ride missions, weapons, vehicles, and Salieri content
Mafia: The Old Country has expanded its gritty Sicilian crime saga with Man of Honor, the game’s first premium story DLC. Available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, the expansion adds new narrative missions, fresh Free Ride activities, collectibles, rewards, and a closer look at one of the most important figures in the Mafia series: Ennio Salieri.
Released on August 14, 2026, Man of Honor is priced at $10 and requires the base game, Mafia: The Old Country. The DLC takes players back to 1905 Sicily during the winter months, continuing the story of Enzo Favara as he builds his reputation within the dangerous Torrisi crime family.
This time, Enzo crosses paths with a young Ennio Salieri, long before he becomes the powerful Don known from the original Mafia and Mafia: Definitive Edition. Recently released from prison, Salieri is determined to reclaim his place in the criminal underworld and settle unfinished business across Valle Dorata.
The expansion introduces two new story chapters centered on a tense assignment involving Salieri’s rise. Rather than presenting him as the established crime boss fans already know, Man of Honor shows a younger, more ambitious version of the character. He is still finding his footing, forming connections, and fighting to build a smuggling operation that could shape his future.
For longtime Mafia fans, this DLC acts as an important narrative bridge. It offers more context for Salieri’s past before his eventual move to Lost Heaven, America, while also giving Enzo Favara another chance to prove himself in a world ruled by loyalty, violence, and betrayal.
Man of Honor also gives players more to do outside the main story through an expanded Free Ride mode. Salieri’s new smuggling warehouse in Porto Almaro becomes a hub for additional endgame content, offering two main types of activities: Salieri’s Challenges and Salieri’s Jobs.
Salieri’s Challenges are tougher versions of existing Free Ride encounters. Players can take on wave-based shootouts, stealth assassination missions, circuit races, road sprints, and time trials. These challenges are designed for players who want more demanding combat, sharper driving objectives, and extra reasons to return to Valle Dorata after finishing the campaign.
Salieri’s Jobs, meanwhile, introduce new open-ended missions with a stronger focus on exploration and criminal side work. Players may be asked to locate hidden loot caches, recover valuable early 20th-century vehicles and bring them back to Salieri’s hideout, or transport stolen trucks loaded with fragile cargo without damaging the goods.
The DLC also adds new collectibles across the Valle Dorata map. Players can hunt down outlaw wanted posters, discover vehicular stunt jumps, and sabotage rival Sulphur trucks as part of Salieri’s revenge against competing factions. These additions give the open world more variety and make exploration feel more rewarding.
Man of Honor includes a selection of unlockable rewards that fit the game’s 1900s Sicilian setting. Players can earn five period-inspired hats, including the Dockside Coppola and Woodsman Fedora, along with three new outfits, three vehicles, two horses, and additional weapons.
One of the standout weapons is the Rimbalzu throwing knife, a stealth-focused tool that can ricochet between targets for silent takedowns. The expansion also includes five new Charms that provide useful gameplay perks while slightly pushing beyond strict historical realism.
With its mix of new story content, expanded Free Ride missions, collectibles, and character-focused storytelling, Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor gives players a deeper look at Enzo Favara’s early criminal journey and Ennio Salieri’s rise before the events that define the wider Mafia series.
