LG has unveiled its 2025 QNED evo TV lineup, promising to redefine viewing experiences with its innovative technology. This new series encompasses a range of premium LCD models, with sizes starting at 40 inches and soaring up to a colossal 100 inches, catering to diverse home entertainment needs.
The hallmark of LG’s latest televisions is the cutting-edge Dynamic QNED Color Solution technology. Departing from traditional quantum dots, this groundbreaking feature is said to extend the color gamut, offering richer, more vibrant visuals. Although specific data on the color performance enhancement is not provided, the TVs carry the Intertek certification, lending credibility to LG’s claims.
Driving this technological marvel is the potent α8 AI Processor, which LG asserts offers a 70% improvement in AI capabilities over previous models. The result is a plethora of advanced features, including refined upscaling, sophisticated Dynamic Tone mapping Pro, and immersive 9.1.2 channel virtual sound. The user experience is further streamlined with the AI Magic Remote, which introduces an AI button for personalized viewing recommendations. Moreover, WebOS 25 promises additional AI-driven features to customize the viewing experience to each user’s preference.
Highlighting the lineup is the QNED9M model, which, alongside its sibling models, supports True Wireless 4K streaming at 4K and 144Hz. This feature, once exclusive to LG’s premium M Series TVs, is making its way to the broader market. With only a power supply cable needed, the QNED9M offers a sleek and clutter-free setup. Additionally, this model boasts AMD FreeSync Premium certification, ensuring smooth and responsive gaming visuals.
Enthusiasts and curious onlookers can anticipate a firsthand look at these innovations at CES 2025, slated to commence on January 7th. LG’s strategic enhancements in the 2025 QNED evo TV series underscore its commitment to pushing the boundaries of home entertainment technology.
