Lexon’s Pocket-Sized Alarm Clock Runs for Six Months on One Charge

Lexon Minut Alarm Clock Launches in Japan With Up to Six Months of Battery Life

Lexon is bringing its compact Minut alarm clock to Japan, offering a simple, stylish alternative to using a smartphone as a bedside alarm. The pocket-sized clock is designed for anyone who wants a cleaner morning routine, fewer distractions, and a reliable way to wake up without notifications, apps, or extra features getting in the way.

The Lexon Minut keeps things intentionally minimal. It is a small digital alarm clock that fits easily on a nightstand, work desk, shelf, or inside a travel bag. Measuring 6.5 × 4.5 × 2.5 cm and weighing only 50 grams, it is small enough to sit in the palm of your hand, making it especially useful for travelers or people with limited bedside space.

Despite its tiny size, the Minut has a premium look thanks to its aluminum and ABS body. It uses a black VA LCD display for clear time visibility, while touch-sensitive controls handle key functions such as the backlight and snooze. The design focuses on convenience without turning the clock into another smart device that demands attention.

One of the biggest highlights is its battery life. Lexon claims the Minut can run for up to six months on a single charge, depending on how often the alarm and display light are used. When it does need power, the clock recharges via USB-C, with a full charge taking around three hours.

The Lexon Minut alarm clock will go on sale in Japan from November 6, 2026, through local distributor Kanjitsu Denki. At launch, it will be available in black, gunmetal, gold, and light pink. Two additional colors, light blue and dark red, are expected to arrive in December.

The expected retail price in Japan is ¥6,980, which is approximately $45. Internationally, the Minut is available at around $40, placing it in the range of stylish compact alarm clocks aimed at buyers who value design, portability, and long battery life.

The Lexon Minut does not try to replace a smartphone, track your sleep, or connect to an app. That is exactly its appeal. For users who want a distraction-free alarm clock with USB-C charging, a sleek design, and months of battery life, the Minut could be a practical upgrade for the bedroom, office, or travel kit.
