Lenovo Legion Y9000P and Y9000X 2026 Launch With RTX 5070 12GB GPU and 240Hz OLED Displays
Lenovo has expanded its 2026 gaming laptop lineup with the new Legion Y9000P and Legion Y9000X, two high-performance machines built for gamers, creators, and power users who want desktop-class performance in a portable form factor.
Both laptops can be configured with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU featuring 12GB of VRAM, giving users more graphics memory for demanding games, creative workloads, AI-powered tools, and high-resolution content creation. This makes the new Legion models especially appealing for players who want smoother performance in modern AAA titles and creators who work with GPU-heavy applications.
A major highlight of both the 2026 Legion Y9000P and Y9000X is the display. Lenovo has equipped the laptops with a 16-inch 2.5K OLED panel that supports a fast 240Hz refresh rate. The combination of OLED contrast, sharp resolution, and high refresh rate should deliver a vivid and responsive experience, whether users are gaming, editing videos, watching movies, or multitasking.
Under the hood, both models are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor. This flagship-class chip is designed to handle heavy workloads, making the laptops suitable not only for gaming but also for streaming, 3D rendering, software development, and professional productivity.
While the Legion Y9000P and Y9000X share many core specifications, Lenovo has positioned them slightly differently.
The Legion Y9000X is the lighter option, making it more suitable for users who want powerful gaming hardware in a slimmer and more portable design. Despite its lighter build, it still includes a 170W dual-fan cooling system, which should help maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions or demanding creative tasks.
The Legion Y9000P is the more performance-focused model, featuring a stronger 225W triple-fan cooling system. This upgraded thermal design is aimed at users who prioritize sustained performance and want better heat management during intensive workloads. The additional cooling capacity may help the laptop push higher power limits for longer periods, especially when gaming or running GPU-heavy software.
In terms of pricing, the 2026 Lenovo Legion Y9000X with the 12GB RTX 5070 Laptop GPU and 32GB of RAM is priced at CNY 18,999, which is roughly $2,792. The Legion Y9000P with the same 12GB RTX 5070 graphics option and 16GB of RAM is priced at CNY 17,499, or about $2,572.
Lenovo has not yet confirmed when these new Legion gaming laptops will be available in global markets. For now, the 2026 Legion Y9000P and Y9000X appear to be strong additions to Lenovo’s premium gaming laptop lineup, offering powerful Intel processors, RTX 5070 12GB graphics, high-refresh OLED displays, and advanced cooling systems designed for serious performance.
