Earlier this year, Lenovo made waves in the Indian market with the launch of the Idea Tab Pro, and now they’re back with a new offering – the standard Idea Tab. This variant retains the sleek aesthetics of its Pro counterpart but brings a few changes to its features.
The Idea Tab is designed with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen, offering a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 500 nits peak brightness, and a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate. This is a slight step down from the Pro model’s 12.7-inch display with a 144 Hz refresh rate.
Underneath its stylish exterior, the Idea Tab is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage, supporting microSD cards up to 2 TB. It runs on the latest Android 15, with Lenovo committing to two major OS updates (Android 16 and 17) and four years of security updates.
For power, this budget-friendly device features a 7,040 mAh battery, although it supports only 20 W wired charging. The tablet is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, great for casual photography.
Weighing in at just 480 grams and measuring 245.59 x 166.15 x 6.9 mm, the Idea Tab is portable and convenient. Other features include quad speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and useful AI apps such as Lenovo AI Note and Circle to Search with Google. Optional accessories like the Tab Pen/Tab Pen Plus stylus and a folio keyboard add more versatility to the device.
Available in a sleek luna grey, the Idea Tab comes in two variants: the WiFi + Pen model priced at INR 16,999 and the 5G + Pen version at INR 19,999. You can purchase this versatile tablet through Lenovo India’s official website and Amazon.
