A collection of official-looking images for the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) have been leaked, displaying the smartphone in what could be its launch colors. The photos offer a preview of the design for Nothing’s next phone.
Only seven months after the release of the Phone (2), Nothing seems to be gearing up to introduce its latest device, the Phone (2a). Ahead of its full unveiling, leaked renders provide a glimpse into the design and color options of the new smartphone. Although the authenticity of the images is not confirmed, they are consistent with previous leaks, suggesting that the Phone (2a) will be available in black and white.
The leaked images emphasize the distinctive design of the Phone (2a), which includes a version of Nothing’s Glyph Interface and a translucent finish that is a hallmark of the brand. The internals of the device, however, are largely obscured by plastic coverings.
With a proposed European launch price of €349 for a model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, and €399 for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, Nothing positions the Phone (2a) to take on the midrange market segments currently occupied by devices like the Google Pixel 7a and Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G, as well as building on the market created by the Phone (1).
The exact specifications of the Phone (2a) remain speculative, but if the leaked images hold true, consumers can anticipate numerous attractive features at competitive pricing points. The anticipated release date for the Phone (2a) is March 5, with a potential showcase happening at MWC (Mobile World Congress) on February 27.
The leaked renders have certainly stirred excitement and speculation among smartphone enthusiasts, as they await the official announcement and confirmation of the details surrounding the Nothing Phone (2a).
