Now, with version 214.22, users will notice helpful status indicators appearing briefly at the top of the screen when activated. These indicators serve several functions: grey icons are used to signify when the device is in do not disturb or sleep mode, a red battery icon warns when the battery is critically low, and a phone icon with a strike-through alerts the user to lost connectivity with their phone. These can be viewed again by swiping right to access them in the quick settings menu.
Moreover, the update contains a Bluetooth security improvement specifically for the Charge 6 and Inspire 3. While specific details about these security enhancements are not disclosed, they are enabled through a reconnection prompt in the Fitbit app.
