KEF Muo aims to bring hi-fi credentials to a compact speaker that doesn’t skimp on power or tuning. Inside, it combines a 20 mm tweeter with a 58 x 117 mm woofer driven by dedicated 10-watt and 30-watt amplifiers. The setup is rated for a wide 43 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and up to 90 dB of output, promising deep bass, clean mids, and crisp highs from a small footprint.
Sound can be tailored through the KEF Connect smartphone app, letting you fine-tune the profile to match your space and preferences. You can also pair two KEF Muo units for true stereo listening, and the built-in microphone turns the speaker into a hands-free device for calls.
KEF Muo is available now from the manufacturer’s online store for $249, offered in seven color options. It lands at a higher price point than the Sonos Roam 2, which currently sells for about $177 on Amazon, positioning the Muo as a premium choice for listeners who value robust hardware, app-based customization, and the option for stereo pairing.
