The highly-anticipated iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is set to hit the market soon. iQOO has officially announced its upcoming Android smartphone, the Z9 Turbo Plus, which is expected to feature the most powerful MediaTek chipset the brand has ever used. Visually, the new flagship model resembles its sibling, the Z9 Turbo, but there are significant differences under the hood.
Despite 2023-24 being a busy product cycle for iQOO, the brand isn’t ready to close the curtains just yet on its Z9 series. The new Turbo+ variant looks poised to be the crown jewel of this series, arriving at a perfect moment in the competitive Chinese mobile device market.
The Z9 Turbo+ will maintain the flagship design seen in the original Z9 Turbo. However, unlike its predecessor, it’s rumored to sport the performance-centric Dimensity 9300+ chipset, opting out of the more efficiency-focused Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. One of the standout features of the Turbo+ is its speculated battery capacity, potentially exceeding 6,000mAh, providing more juice than its non-Plus counterpart. While iQOO has yet to confirm these specs, they are marketing the device as a “super powerful, special upgrade.”
Potential buyers should note that although the Z9 Turbo+ isn’t available for direct purchase yet, they can secure their opportunity by paying a deposit of just 0.1 yuan (~$0.01). This small investment could not only reserve their Z9 Turbo+ but also land them a mystery box that might contain a new iQOO speaker.
Stay tuned as iQOO continues to tantalize tech enthusiasts with what’s shaping up to be a stellar addition to their lineup.
