EcoFlow has just unveiled its latest innovation in Germany—the Stream Ultra X balcony power system. This exciting addition to the Stream series significantly enhances the features of its predecessor, the Stream Ultra, which is available on Amazon for €799.
The standout feature of the Stream Ultra X is its impressive 3.84 kWh storage capacity, doubling the 1.92 kWh offered by the Stream Ultra. Built with an advanced LFP battery, it promises longevity by retaining 70% capacity over ten years, withstanding about 6,000 charge cycles. The Ultra X isn’t just about more storage; it’s scalable, allowing expansion from 3.84 kWh up to a whopping 23 kWh. This is a substantial increase compared to the Stream Ultra’s flexibility, which only extends up to 11.52 kWh.
Design-wise, the Ultra X is a bit larger, yet it packs twice the capacity. It measures 420 x 294 x 460 mm (16.5 x 11.5 x 18.1 inches) and weighs 38.8 kg (85.5 lbs), compared to its predecessor’s more compact 284 x 255 x 458 mm (11.1 x 10 x 18 inches) and 23.1 kg (50.9 lbs).
This powerful system includes four MPPTs with a total output of 2,000 W and a 1,200 W AC backup. It’s built to withstand harsh conditions, thanks to a self-heating feature that operates efficiently even at temperatures as low as -20 °C (4 °F). The Ultra X is perfect for outdoor settings with its IP65 water and dust resistance, and it minimizes disruptions with a low noise level of 30 dB.
Additional highlights include the integration of the EcoFlow AI Assistant and support via the EcoFlow app for real-time monitoring and power settings adjustments.
