Aqara’s latest innovation, the Doorbell Camera Hub G410, is now available globally, promising enhanced security features and modern conveniences. Introduced as an upgrade to their previous model, this device was first showcased at CES 2025 and has since made its way to various markets.
The G410 comes in two versions: the standard Doorbell Camera Hub G410 and the Select variant. Both offer different cloud storage options with the standard version providing a one-month trial of Aqara’s new HomeGuardian cloud service, while the Select model offers a three-month trial. Users can also choose between short-term free storage or extended options. Additionally, there’s flexibility for storage through iCloud, a microSD card up to 512 GB, or a local NAS system.
A hallmark of the G410 is its 2K camera boasting a wide 175° field of view. The device is equipped with an mmWave radar sensor, designed to detect motion more accurately and reduce false alerts. On-device facial recognition adds an extra layer of personalized security. Through the Aqara Home app, users can manage alerts and settings easily. For privacy-conscious users, tools like image masking and a voice changer for the two-way audio system are included.
Connectivity is robust, with dual-band Wi-Fi support and compatibility with Matter, making it a versatile hub for Aqara Zigbee devices or a Thread border router. It also integrates smoothly with systems like Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple Home with HomeKit Secure Video. The doorbell includes a separate chime and offers flexibility in power options, functioning either with hardwiring or AA batteries.
In the US, the G410 is currently available for $129.99, benefiting from a $10 discount on Amazon. European consumers can find it for £129.99 or €129.99. The standard model is available in black or gray, while the Select variant offers options in black or white.
