Intel Partners Push Out New Z890 Motherboard BIOS Update With "0x114" Microcode: ASUS, Gigabyte & ASRock Ready 1

Intel Slashes Prices on Arrow Lake CPUs, Core Ultra 7 265KF Now Just $284

In a surprising twist, Intel has slashed the prices of its Arrow Lake CPUs, particularly the Core Ultra 7 265K and 265KF. Initially, the buzz around the Intel Arrow Lake “Core Ultra Series 2” CPUs was immense, but the reality didn’t quite match up to the hype. This prompted Intel and its partners to enhance the platform through various BIOS, firmware, and overclocking updates.

Now, Intel is stepping up with notable discounts on its desktop processors. The price of the Core Ultra 7 265K has been cut from $399 to $299, while the 265KF now starts at $284, down from $384. This 26% reduction is a boon for desktop builders and PC gamers, making the Core Ultra 7 series even more appealing.

These price cuts align the pricing of the 265K and 265KF with the Core Ultra 5 245K and 245KF, at $299 and $284 respectively. This move by Intel, often referred to as “Team Blue,” could indicate further reductions on other models, enhancing the appeal of their desktop series.

Intel’s Core Ultra 7 processors in the 200S series now offer exceptional price-to-performance value for gamers, creators, and professionals. Compared to similar 12th Gen Intel Core desktop processors, gamers can expect up to 50% faster performance, while creators can enjoy up to 65% quicker image rendering. These advancements make the Core Ultra 7 200S series a fantastic choice for high-performance computing at an accessible price.

Beyond the price cuts, buyers will also benefit from the Spring Bundle, which includes two AAA games and several software tools designed for content creators. This bundling adds even more value to an already attractive offer for those looking to upgrade their desktop performance.
