Infinity Nikki Version 2.5 Launches: “Where All Souls Return” Arrives

Infinity Nikki Version 2.5, Where All Souls Return, is now available as a free update on iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5. For players who’ve been waiting for the next big step forward, this is one of the most meaningful expansions since Version 2.0 introduced Itzaland—delivering a sizable new area to explore, fresh Ability Outfits, and a notable visual boost for PS5 Pro owners.

At the heart of Version 2.5 is the Boneyard, a brand-new open-world region located in northern Itzaland. It leans into a darker, more contemplative vibe than earlier zones, built around themes like reincarnation, destiny, and the consequences of choice. The landscape itself is striking: massive ancient dragon bones shape the terrain, with ruins scattered throughout and an atmosphere that feels quieter and more haunting—perfect for players who love exploration with a strong sense of place.

The story continues in the Boneyard as Nikki pushes deeper into Itzaland while pursuing Lady Medael. This chapter also puts the spotlight on the Parksolians, a dragon-like people recognized by their blue horns and scaled features, who play a central role in the unfolding events.

Exploration also gets a major upgrade thanks to new Ability Outfits. The Dragonbone Master outfit introduces one of the update’s most creative mechanics, letting Nikki summon dragon bones to tackle environmental puzzles or even ride them like a surfboard across the Boneyard. It’s a flashy, practical addition that changes how traversal and puzzle-solving feel in the new region.

Version 2.5 also brings in a new 5-star Archer outfit with a skeletal valkyrie style, adding ranged mechanics that expand how you interact with the world. Alongside that, players can look forward to a 5-star Bug-Catching outfit with an ethereal floral theme, plus a 4-star companion outfit with a knightly look—rounding out the update with more variety for collectors and fashion-focused players.

On the technical side, PS5 Pro players get dedicated enhancements in this update, including improved PSSR support for better sharpness, clearer visuals, and steadier frame rates—especially noticeable in wide-open areas and during combat. Environmental detail, lighting, and long-distance rendering have also been improved, and outfit materials appear more defined for a cleaner, richer look. Another welcome quality-of-life change: screenshots can now be saved directly to the PlayStation system gallery, cutting out the extra steps that previously made capturing and sharing images more of a hassle.

Infinity Nikki remains free to play on iOS, Android, PC, and PS5, and Version 2.5 Where All Souls Return is live now—bringing a major map expansion, new gameplay-focused outfits, and sharper performance for players on PS5 Pro.
