The anticipation is building as NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti GPUs have been spotted in listings by popular PC builder, iBuyPower. As excitement swells for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” gaming GPUs, set to debut in January, this early glimpse into the new lineup offers a tantalizing look at what gamers can expect.
iBuyPower has revealed their plans for four distinct pre-built gaming PCs featuring NVIDIA’s latest GPUs. The inclusion of the RTX 5070 Ti instead of its predecessor, the RTX 5070, is particularly intriguing. These machines are set to deliver powerful performance with options for both Intel and AMD systems. They will utilize the newest CPUs like Intel’s Arrow Lake “Core Ultra 200S” and AMD’s Zen 5 “Ryzen 9000”. Supporting up to 32 GB of DDR5-5200 memory and high-quality AIO liquid cooling, they are designed for serious gamers who demand top performance.
Curiously, these models were also listed with “SUPER” labels, possibly a remnant of older listings, leading to speculation. However, expectations lean towards a straightforward release without these variants.
Diving deeper into the specs, the RTX 5080 is poised to be a game-changer with its GB203-400-A1 GPU die and impressive specs. It promises to deliver a robust 84 SMs and 10,752 cores, offering a significant boost despite a 51% reduction compared to the RTX 5090. This card will employ cutting-edge GDDR7 memory, delivering speeds up to 32 Gbps for 1 TB/s bandwidth, supported by a 400W thermal board power.
The RTX 5070 Ti, packing the GB203-300-A1 core, will house 8,960 CUDA cores, accompanied by 16 GB of VRAM on a 256-bit bus interface. While its GDDR7 speeds will be slightly lower at 28 Gbps, it still manages nearly 1 TB/s bandwidth.
All eyes are on NVIDIA’s upcoming CES 2025 presentation, where the new GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” lineup will officially be unveiled. Gamers and tech enthusiasts alike are eagerly waiting for this launch, anticipating significant advancements and performance leaps in the next generation of gaming graphics technology. Keep an eye out for more updates as the release date approaches, promising a powerhouse performance for the gaming community.
