Huawei has recently unveiled its latest device, the Mate XT, leaving tech enthusiasts buzzing. While the company has kept tight-lipped about the device’s chipset, preferring to highlight other impressive specs, insider reports from @feni_book have revealed that the Mate XT is powered by the Kirin 9010 chipset, the same processor found in the Pura 70 Ultra.
One of the most striking features of the Mate XT is its expansive display, sourced from BOE. When fully unfolded, this OLED panel stretches to an impressive 10.2 inches with a resolution of 2,232 x 3,184 pixels. The device can also be resized to a more conventional 7.9 inches or even down to a manageable 6.4 inches for everyday smartphone use. The screen supports LTPO adaptive refresh rates and boasts a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, although Huawei has yet to disclose its peak refresh rate.
Powering this dynamic device is a robust 5,600 mAh battery, capable of 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and even 7.5W reverse wireless charging, ensuring you’re never out of juice.
Camera aficionados will appreciate the Mate XT’s versatile photography setup. At the heart of its camera array is a 50 MP primary lens featuring optical stabilization and a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0. Complementing this are a 12 MP telephoto camera with a 125 mm equivalent focal length and 5.5x zoom capabilities, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 8 MP front-facing camera for all your selfie needs.
For those craving more detailed insights, unboxing videos from tech insiders offer an even closer look at the Mate XT. However, it remains uncertain if Huawei will release the Mate XT Ultimate Design outside of China, keeping international fans on their toes.
