House of Marley Japan Launches the Get Together Go: A Portable Wireless Speaker with a Built-In Bottle Opener

House of Marley has introduced a new portable wireless speaker in Japan called the Get Together Go, blending rugged everyday practicality with the brand’s eco-minded design approach. Built to deliver the company’s “Marley Signature Sound,” this compact speaker also adds a clever extra: a built-in bottle opener, making it an easy grab for outdoor hangouts, beach days, and backyard gatherings.

Designed for travel and messy real-world use, the Get Together Go comes with an IP67 rating, meaning it’s both dustproof and waterproof. That durability is paired with materials meant to reduce environmental impact. The front face is made using renewable bamboo, while the outer body uses recycled REGRIND silicone, giving it a sturdy, grippy feel without leaning on all-new plastics.

In terms of sound, the Get Together Go is rated at 30 watts and uses a four-speaker setup with two drivers and two tweeters. House of Marley lists a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz, aiming for clear highs and a full, punchy presentation for its size. You can also tailor the audio using three EQ preset modes, which is handy when switching between podcasts, background listening, and more energetic music.

Connectivity is simple and flexible. The speaker supports Bluetooth 6.0 for wireless playback and works with common SBC and AAC audio codecs. If you prefer a wired setup, there’s also a 3.5 mm input for plugging in phones, music players, or other devices directly.

Battery life is another highlight. House of Marley rates the Get Together Go for up to 20 hours of playback on a charge, with recharging taking about four hours via USB-C. That’s a strong fit for day trips and weekend use without constantly hunting for an outlet.

As for size and portability, the speaker measures 30 × 7.8 × 10.7 cm (11.8 × 3.1 × 4.2 in.) and weighs 1.35 kg (2.98 lbs.), landing in that sweet spot between “easy to carry” and “big enough to sound like a real speaker.” It’s launching in two color options: Cream and Signature Black.

In Japan, the House of Marley Get Together Go portable speaker is priced at 29,990 yen (around $190).
