Honor Unveils Win & Win RT Gaming Phones Featuring Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a Massive 10,000mAh Battery

Honor is turning up the heat in China’s smartphone market with two new gaming-first flagships: the Honor Win and Honor Win RT. Built for high-frame-rate play and long sessions away from a charger, both phones combine top-tier Snapdragon performance with an active cooling fan, an ultra-fast OLED screen, and one of the biggest batteries seen on a modern flagship.

A major headline feature on both models is the huge 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Honor pairs it with 100 W wired fast charging, and it doesn’t stop there—both devices also support 80 W wireless charging, making them standout options for power users who game, stream, and multitask daily.

On the front, the Win and Win RT share a large 6.83-inch FHD+ OLED display designed for speed and clarity. The refresh rate goes all the way up to 185 Hz for fluid gameplay and scrolling, while peak brightness is rated at an eye-catching 6,000 nits. The panel also includes HDR10+ support for richer contrast, plus 5,950 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming aimed at improving viewing comfort during long sessions.

Performance is where the two models begin to separate. The Honor Win is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 paired with an Adreno 830 GPU, while the Honor Win RT uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Both phones can be configured with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage, delivering the kind of speed gamers and heavy app users typically look for—fast loads, stable performance, and plenty of space for large games.

Camera hardware is another key distinction. The Honor Win comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50 MP main sensor (1/1.56-inch) with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. The Win RT keeps the 50 MP main and 12 MP ultrawide, but drops the telephoto lens, making it the more gaming-centric, value-focused option. On the front, both phones include a 50 MP selfie camera.

To keep sustained performance in check, Honor equips both devices with an active cooling fan, including a 25,000 RPM mode for aggressive cooling during demanding gameplay. Other notable features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, strong durability standards with IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance ratings, stereo speakers, an AI surround subwoofer, NFC, Wi‑Fi, and Bluetooth 6.0.

Pricing in China positions the two models for different budgets. The Honor Win starts at CNY 3,999 (about $570) for 12 GB + 256 GB, with 12 GB + 512 GB at CNY 4,499 (about $640) and 16 GB + 1 TB at CNY 5,299 (about $755). Color options include black, white, and blue. The Honor Win RT starts at CNY 2,699 (about $385) for 12 GB + 256 GB, topping out at CNY 3,999 (about $570) for a 16 GB + 1 TB version.

Both the Honor Win and Honor Win RT are already available to buy in China through Honor’s official online store.
