Google has launched Gemini 3.7 Flash, its latest large language model built for developers, AI agents, and demanding productivity workflows. The new model arrives only three weeks after Gemini 3.6 Flash, but Google is already calling it the most capable “workhorse” version in the Flash lineup so far.
The biggest focus of Gemini 3.7 Flash is coding. Google says the model brings major improvements in software engineering tasks, including debugging, fixing issues, generating code, and completing multi-step development projects. In benchmark testing, Gemini 3.7 Flash scored 43.6% on FrontierCode 1.1 Main, up from 34.4% for Gemini 3.6 Flash. It also improved sharply on DeepSWE v1.1, rising from 49% to 65.3%.
That makes Gemini 3.7 Flash especially important for developers looking for a faster AI coding assistant that can handle more than simple snippets. Google says the model is better at understanding project goals, adapting when something goes wrong, following detailed instructions, and using external tools. This could make it more useful for building software agents, automating development tasks, and reducing the number of manual corrections needed during coding sessions.
Web development is another area where Gemini 3.7 Flash is designed to stand out. Google claims the model can create more complete web apps and functional layouts with fewer prompts. It is also said to follow reference designs more accurately, whether users provide screenshots, images, or full design systems. On WebDev Arena, Gemini 3.7 Flash reached an Elo score of 1588, compared with 1538 for Gemini 3.6 Flash.
Beyond coding, Google is aiming Gemini 3.7 Flash at knowledge-heavy industries such as finance, law, and biosciences. These fields often involve long documents, complicated workflows, and high accuracy requirements. On the GDP.pdf benchmark, which tests a model’s ability to process complex documents, Gemini 3.7 Flash scored 34%, improving on the previous model’s 22%. On AutomationBench, which measures real-world business workflow performance, the new model reached 30.4%, compared with 17% for Gemini 3.6 Flash.
Google says these upgrades should help Gemini 3.7 Flash handle tasks like reviewing dense reports, extracting useful information from files, drafting documents, organizing data, and managing multi-step office processes. The model is also being positioned as a stronger foundation for AI agents that need to reason through tasks, make plans, and complete work with less human input.
One of the most notable details is the launch pricing. Gemini 3.7 Flash is available at an introductory rate of $0.75 per 1 million input tokens and $3.75 per 1 million output tokens through the end of 2026. Google says this is half the original price of Gemini 3.6 Flash. Starting January 1, 2027, the price will rise to $1.50 per 1 million input tokens and $7.50 per 1 million output tokens.
Gemini 3.7 Flash is also being added to Gemini Spark, Google’s personal AI agent that runs around the clock. Spark will use the new model to help with knowledge-work tasks such as combining files, writing emails, and updating status documents. The feature is available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in more than 160 countries.
Developers can access Gemini 3.7 Flash through Google Antigravity, the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and Android Studio. Enterprise customers can use it through Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and the Gemini Enterprise app. Individual users with Google AI Pro or Ultra subscriptions can access the model through Spark in the Gemini app where supported.
With better coding performance, stronger document processing, improved web development skills, and lower introductory pricing, Gemini 3.7 Flash appears to be a major step forward for Google’s AI model lineup. It is clearly aimed at developers, businesses, and power users who want a faster, more capable model for building apps, automating workflows, and handling complex digital tasks.
