GMKtec’s New Liquid-Cooled Gaming PCs Go Global With Up to 64GB RAM and 12GB VRAM

GMKtec Neo-X1 Gaming PCs Go Global With AMD Ryzen 9 CPUs and Nvidia RTX Graphics

GMKtec is preparing to bring its new Neo-X1 gaming desktop lineup to the global market, giving PC gamers and creators a compact but powerful option built around high-end AMD processors and Nvidia desktop graphics.

The GMKtec Neo-X1 series is scheduled for global availability in August 2026 and will arrive in two configurations: the Neo-X1 and the more powerful Neo-X1 Pro. Both models use the same 14.6-liter metal chassis, giving the systems a relatively compact footprint compared with traditional gaming towers. Despite the smaller design, GMKtec is positioning the Neo-X1 lineup as a serious performance machine for gaming, content creation, and demanding multitasking.

A key highlight of the series is its cooling system. Both desktops feature a triple-fan liquid cooling solution designed to keep temperatures under control during heavy workloads. GMKtec claims the cooling setup can sustain up to 160 W of CPU performance, which should help the systems maintain strong speeds during long gaming sessions, rendering tasks, or processor-heavy applications.

The standard GMKtec Neo-X1 is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 9 9955HX, a 16-core processor from the Fire Range family. This chip is aimed at users who need desktop-class performance in a smaller PC design, offering enough horsepower for modern games, streaming, video editing, and productivity tasks.

Paired with the processor is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti desktop GPU, along with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. This configuration is expected to carry a manufacturer suggested retail price of $2,099. For gamers looking for a premium compact desktop without stepping into the highest price tier, the Neo-X1 appears to be the more balanced option in the lineup.

The GMKtec Neo-X1 Pro takes things further with an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor. While it shares many similarities with the Ryzen 9 9955HX, the 9955HX3D adds extra 3D V-Cache, doubling the L3 cache with an additional 64 MB on one CCD. This extra cache can be especially useful in certain games and workloads that benefit from faster access to larger memory pools.

The Pro model also upgrades the graphics card to Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070, making it the stronger choice for higher-resolution gaming, more demanding visual settings, and heavier creative workloads. It also includes 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD, giving users more memory for multitasking and more storage space for games, media files, and large project libraries.

The GMKtec Neo-X1 Pro is expected to launch with a $2,899 price tag, making it more than 38% more expensive than the standard Neo-X1. That added cost brings a faster GPU, more RAM, double the storage, and the cache-enhanced Ryzen 9 processor.

Global sales for the GMKtec Neo-X1 and Neo-X1 Pro are set to begin at 07:00 UTC on August 17, 2026. GMKtec is also offering a $50 early bird discount for buyers who sign up for more information before launch.

With powerful AMD Ryzen 9 processors, Nvidia RTX desktop graphics, liquid cooling, and a compact metal chassis, the GMKtec Neo-X1 series could appeal to gamers who want high-end performance without building a large custom desktop. The Neo-X1 looks like the better fit for users seeking strong all-around gaming performance, while the Neo-X1 Pro is aimed at enthusiasts who want more memory, more storage, and a faster graphics card for demanding games and creative work.
