Xiaomi enthusiasts have reason to celebrate with the confirmation of not one, but two flagship smartphones set to make their global debut next month. The tech giant will unveil its Xiaomi 15 Ultra alongside the slightly smaller Xiaomi 15, creating a buzz ahead of the ‘Next Pinnacle’ event on March 2 and their showcase at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona.
Xiaomi has tantalizingly teased its upcoming releases, with the first official glimpse of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s rear design revealed. This new model boasts a revamped camera layout distinct from its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The image suggests the use of five circular apertures, which have sparked much speculation and excitement among tech fans. Notably, the top left aperture is anticipated to house Leica branding and camera hardware inscriptions instead of an actual sensor. This shift potentially makes room for a powerful 200 MP periscope telephoto camera, accompanied by primary, secondary, and ultra-wide-angle cameras in the series of smaller apertures.
Adding to the anticipation, it appears the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will sport a two-tone design, a stylish touch confirmed by official sources including Xiaomi Vietnam. The same reveal shows the Xiaomi 15 Ultra alongside the Xiaomi 15, which was introduced to the Chinese market last October. The global rollout of both these models in March hints at an exciting expansion of Xiaomi’s flagship offerings. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 15 Pro seems destined to remain exclusive to Chinese consumers, continuing the trend set by its predecessors.
This upcoming event is highly anticipated by tech followers, and Xiaomi is surely gearing up for an impressive global launch that promises to capture the attention of smartphone enthusiasts worldwide.
