Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition is set to launch for PS5 on October 1, bringing the full adventure together with a major anniversary update packed with new content, multiplayer action, and extra rewards for early buyers.
Sucker Punch Productions is celebrating one year of Ghost of Yōtei with a bigger version of the game that includes the original story, the four-player online Legends mode, and two new additions: the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion and the roguelike-inspired Most Wanted combat mode.
Echoes of Sekigahara adds a fresh narrative layer to Ghost of Yōtei by shifting between present-day Ezo and flashbacks from Atsu’s past. The expansion introduces a new character named Nagato while revisiting the historic Battle of Sekigahara, giving players more insight into Atsu’s journey and the events that helped shape the world around her.
For players who want more replayable action, Most Wanted offers a survival-style experience focused on bounty-driven runs. This mode includes unlockable characters, combat perks, and roguelike elements designed to keep each attempt feeling different. It should appeal to fans who enjoy testing their skills, experimenting with builds, and chasing new rewards across repeated runs.
The Complete Edition update will also add extra features beyond the main expansion and new mode. Players can expect new Watanabe Mode music tracks, additional photo mode stamps, and improved accessibility options, making the experience more customizable and welcoming for a wider range of players.
Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition will be priced at $69.99 for new players. Those who already own the base game will be able to upgrade to the Complete Edition for $14.99.
There is also a limited-time bonus for early buyers. Anyone who purchases or pre-orders Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition by September 30 will receive the Sakai Armor when the update launches on October 1. The armor serves as a special tribute to Ghost of Tsushima and gives longtime fans another reason to jump in early.
