Since the launch of the Galaxy Tab A9+ in January, Samsung has now unveiled a new discount for its latest addition to the budget tablet segment.
Previous promotions included a $50 worth accessory giveaway and complimentary memory upgrades for early customers. Having phased out these initial offers, Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab A9+’s maiden price reduction, dropping its cost below the $200 threshold for the first time.

Shoppers now have the opportunity to acquire the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model for just $189, down from $219, or the more expansive 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at $239 instead of $269. Both deals apply to the Wi-Fi only models.

The Galaxy Tab A9+ boasts an 11-inch TFT LCD with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It comes powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and houses a 7,040mAh battery with support for 15W chargingcapabilities. The tablet lacks a fingerprint sensor but compensates with a quad-speaker system, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and microSD card support for expandable memory.
On the camera front, it features an 8MP rear camera capable of 1080p recording at 30fps, along with a 5MP front camera for video calls and selfies.
A concern for some may be that the device ships with the older Android 13 and One UI 5.1. However, users can anticipate an upgrade to Android 14 and One UI 6, expected to be released for the Tab A9+ in due time.
