Frostpunk 2’s first expansion, Fractured Utopias, arrives on December 8 across all supported platforms, bringing a sweeping new layer to the city-builder’s high-stakes struggle for survival.
Built around an expanded Utopia Builder mode, this DLC doubles down on the consequences of leadership and the power of ideology. Each faction now pursues its own bold vision of a perfect society, and your decisions determine which dream becomes reality—and what must be sacrificed to get there.
Fractured Utopias introduces the Utopia Tree for every faction, fueled by affinities and trust. As you win a faction’s confidence, you unlock specialized laws, unique buildings and hubs, and signature abilities that sharpen their identity and strategy. Complete a faction’s Utopia Tree to cement a singular vision for the entire city, permanently resolving Tension but binding your society to one definitive path. Your city may endure—but whose future will it serve?
Key features in Fractured Utopias:
– Eight distinct faction Utopias, each with new systems, tools, and endgame

– Eight new faction hubs (one per faction)
– Eight faction-specific housing district variants

A new trailer showcases these additions and the ideological clashes at the heart of the expansion.
