Casio is gearing up to release a new premium collaboration watch with Japanese fashion label White Mountaineering: the Pro Trek PRW-B1000WM-1. Positioned as a high-end outdoor timepiece with a $900 price tag, this model brings together Pro Trek’s adventure-ready sensor tech with a more fashion-forward, detail-rich design. Early details point to a February 2026 launch.
This is the second team-up between Casio and White Mountaineering, following the more entry-level PRJ-B001WM. This time, the collaboration steps up to the PRW-B1000 platform, a more advanced and upscale base that better fits the “premium Pro Trek” idea. Visually, the watch leans into White Mountaineering’s signature design language: the steel bezel features a distinctive triangular pattern, a brand hallmark that gives the watch a sharper, more technical look. There are also bold red accents, including a red second hand and a red marker on the 9 o’clock sub-dial. That sub-dial design is inspired by a climbing piton, a nod to mountaineering heritage that suits the Pro Trek identity.
Materials and construction are clearly aimed at buyers who want a tougher, more refined build than typical resin-heavy outdoor models. Instead of the usual resin strap found on many Pro Trek watches, the PRW-B1000WM-1 is expected to ship with a composite bracelet. That change contributes to a total weight of around 120 grams, giving the watch a more substantial wrist feel. Up top, it uses sapphire crystal for stronger scratch resistance and clearer visibility. The center case is made from flame-retardant bio-based resin, while the case and back cover incorporate fiber-reinforced materials designed to improve strength when conditions get harsh.
Where this collaboration really stands out is in the technology package. The PRW-B1000WM-1 is described as the first Pro Trek watch to combine Tough Solar charging with both Bluetooth connectivity and Multiband 6 radio time calibration. In everyday use, Bluetooth can automatically adjust the time up to four times a day, helping the watch stay accurate with minimal effort. It also enables features built for navigation and outdoor planning, such as a Location Indicator that can show both the direction and distance to a saved waypoint.
For situations where your phone isn’t coming along, Multiband 6 provides another layer of reliability by receiving radio time signals from six transmission stations around the world. That means the watch can maintain accurate timekeeping even off-grid, aligning well with the Pro Trek mission of dependable outdoor performance.
The core of the outdoor feature set is Casio’s well-known Triple Sensor system, which delivers real-time readings for compass direction, barometric pressure and altitude, and temperature. For hikers, climbers, and travelers, these are the practical tools that turn a watch into an on-wrist instrument—useful for everything from monitoring weather shifts to tracking elevation changes on the move.
More official launch information is expected soon, but what’s already known suggests the Casio Pro Trek x White Mountaineering PRW-B1000WM-1 is aiming for a specific audience: people who want serious outdoor functionality, premium materials like sapphire, and a collaboration design that looks at home in the city as much as it does on the trail. With its mix of solar power, sensors, Bluetooth convenience, and radio-controlled accuracy, it’s shaping up to be one of the most feature-packed Pro Trek collaborations to date.
