Casio is getting ready to expand its LW-204 lineup with two fresh digital watches that lean into a classic sporty look while adding eye-catching metallic tones. Newly spotted on Casio’s official Singapore website, the upcoming models are the LW-204-7A and LW-204-9A, both listed as “coming soon” with no exact launch date yet.
These two newcomers will sit alongside the existing LW-204-1B and keep the same familiar design language: a rounded case paired with a compact, rectangular digital screen. The overall style is simple, practical, and easy to wear—ideal for anyone who prefers a retro-inspired digital watch that works for everyday use.
The Casio LW-204-7A goes for a clean, lighter look with a silver-tone resin bezel, an off-white face, and a matching resin strap. Its display keeps the standard digital appearance most people expect from a straightforward timepiece.
If you want something warmer and more standout, the Casio LW-204-9A brings a gold-colored resin bezel, a golden face, and a beige strap. It also uses a warmer-tinted display to match the overall color theme, giving it a more distinctive “metallic” vibe while still staying casual and sporty.
Function-wise, the LW-204 series aims to cover the essentials that make Casio digital watches so popular. You’re getting a 1/100th second stopwatch for timing, a daily alarm, and a countdown timer for routines, workouts, or reminders. There’s also an LED backlight for easier reading in low light, plus support for both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
Casio rates the battery life at around three years, which should appeal to anyone who wants a low-maintenance watch. The watches are also water resistant up to 50 meters, making them suitable for daily wear, hand washing, rain, and general water exposure.
Pricing for Singapore is listed at S$45 (around $35) for both the LW-204-7A and LW-204-9A. For now, it’s not clear exactly when they’ll be available to buy in Singapore, or when the release will expand to other regions.
