Casio G-Shock Teases Two Futuristic Hybrid Watches With Alien-Eye Styling

Casio appears to be preparing two eye-catching additions to its rugged G-Shock lineup: the GA-V01CMG-4A and GA-V01CMG-6A. Both models bring bold camouflage styling to the distinctive GA-V01 series, a hybrid watch range known for its oversized case, analog-digital layout, and unusual “alien eyes” display design.

The upcoming Casio G-Shock GA-V01CMG-4A stands out with a pink camouflage pattern, paired with a pink dial and a light-background digital display. It offers a brighter, more playful look while keeping the tough personality that G-Shock watches are famous for.

The GA-V01CMG-6A takes a darker approach. This model features a purple-toned camouflage design, a black dial, and a dark digital display, giving it a more mysterious and futuristic appearance. Together, the two watches suggest Casio is leaning heavily into colorful camo-inspired designs for its future G-Shock releases.

The GA-V01 series first arrived in early 2025 and quickly attracted attention thanks to its bold shape and unusual display arrangement. The central digital screen has a distinctive look often compared to alien eyes, which gives the watch a sci-fi character unlike many traditional G-Shock models.

These watches combine analog hands with a digital display, offering both style and practicality. The analog hands are attached using a magnetic system, while the hand shift feature allows the hands to move out of the way when needed, making the digital display easier to read.

In terms of features, the Casio G-Shock GA-V01CMG-4A and GA-V01CMG-6A are expected to include useful everyday tools such as a stopwatch, countdown timer, daily alarms, hourly time signals, and standard timekeeping functions. Like many G-Shock models, they are also built for durability, with water resistance rated at 200 meters.

Battery life is another strong point. The GA-V01 models are expected to run for around 10 years using a CR2025 battery, making them low-maintenance options for users who want a tough watch they do not need to constantly recharge.

A third camouflage version, the GA-V01CMG-3A, is also expected to join the range as part of a broader camo-themed collection. This suggests Casio may be planning a larger push into camouflage G-Shock watches, combining rugged utility with bold fashion-focused designs.

The Casio G-Shock GA-V01CMG-4A and GA-V01CMG-6A are expected to launch in June 2026. However, Casio has not yet officially announced the models, and details such as global availability and pricing remain unknown for now.

With their chunky cases, futuristic hybrid displays, long battery life, and striking camouflage colorways, the GA-V01CMG-4A and GA-V01CMG-6A could appeal to collectors and everyday users looking for a G-Shock that feels both tough and visually different from the usual lineup.
