Dragon Ball Super: Beerus English Dub Begins Streaming on November 12
Dragon Ball fans who prefer watching anime in English will not have to wait long for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus. The re-animated and revised version of Dragon Ball Super is set to begin streaming with English, Spanish, and Portuguese dubs on Thursday, November 12.
The dubbed release arrives just a few days after Episode 8 airs on Sunday, November 8, meaning the dub will be around seven episodes behind the current release schedule. For a weekly Dragon Ball anime, that is a remarkably fast turnaround and a major improvement compared to past releases in the franchise.
Dragon Ball Super: Beerus revisits the early Battle of Gods material with updated animation, revised pacing, added scenes, and carefully trimmed moments designed to improve dramatic flow. The series has already caught attention from fans who appreciate the cleaner visuals and more polished presentation of Beerus and Goku’s first major encounter.
The faster dub schedule is especially notable when compared to the original Dragon Ball Super anime. The final episode of the Tournament of Power arc aired in Japan on March 28, 2018, but English dub viewers did not get to see it until October 5, 2019. That meant fans waiting for the dubbed version were more than a year behind.
By comparison, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is keeping the gap to roughly under two months. That is a much healthier schedule for international viewers, especially for a franchise as globally popular as Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball Daima had a shorter delay than the original Dragon Ball Super run, but its English dub still finished around three months after the Japanese broadcast ended.
This new approach could be a promising sign for future Dragon Ball anime releases. Fans are still waiting for official details about Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, the expected anime adaptation of the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc from the manga. There is still no confirmed release date, and it remains unknown how quickly that series will receive dubbed versions once it begins.
For now, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is giving longtime fans something to be excited about. The revised cut has been praised for improving pacing, sharpening key emotional moments, and giving major scenes more visual impact. Beerus, one of the franchise’s most popular modern characters, benefits greatly from the refreshed presentation, especially in his early scenes with Goku.
The arrival of the English dub should make the series more accessible to viewers who prefer dubbed anime or who grew up watching Dragon Ball in English. While many fans have become comfortable watching subtitled releases to keep up with new episodes, a fast English dub makes it much easier for the wider audience to enjoy the story without a long delay.
With English, Spanish, and Portuguese versions launching on November 12, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is positioned to reach a broad international audience almost immediately. If this faster dubbing schedule continues, it could mark a major improvement in how new Dragon Ball anime is released worldwide.
