Asus ROG Godlike 27 Plus debuts as a triple-mode gaming monitor with 4K 240Hz and up to 488Hz refresh rate
Asus has introduced the ROG Godlike 27 Plus in China as part of the ROG 20th anniversary celebration, and it is shaping up to be one of the more exciting gaming monitors revealed this year. Built for players who want both high resolution and extreme speed, the new 27-inch display uses a triple-mode design that lets gamers choose between sharp 4K visuals, ultra-fast QHD gameplay, or a maximum-speed Full HD mode.
At its native setting, the Asus ROG Godlike 27 Plus features a 4K Fast IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. That alone puts it firmly in premium gaming monitor territory, especially for players using high-end gaming PCs or next-generation graphics cards capable of pushing demanding titles at high frame rates.
The standout feature, however, is its ability to switch refresh rate modes depending on the selected resolution. Users can drop to QHD resolution, 2560 x 1440, and unlock a faster 400Hz refresh rate. For competitive gamers who prioritize speed above all else, the monitor can also switch to Full HD, 1920 x 1080, and reach up to 488Hz.
This flexible approach gives the ROG Godlike 27 Plus a strong advantage for different types of games. Story-driven titles, open-world games, and visually rich single-player experiences can take full advantage of the native 4K 240Hz mode. Connectivity is another important part of the package. The Asus ROG Godlike 27 Plus includes DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C support. HDMI 2.1 makes the monitor more flexible for modern gaming setups, while USB-C adds convenience for users who want a cleaner desk setup or compatibility with supported laptops and other devices.
Asus has not yet confirmed the official price or release date for the ROG Godlike 27 Plus. Availability outside China has also not been announced.
