AOC Unveils a Lightning-Fast 425Hz QD-Mini LED Gaming Monitor

AOC Unveils Agon Pro AGP277QKM Gaming Monitor With 425Hz QD-Mini LED Display

AOC has launched a new high-performance gaming monitor in China, and it looks built for players who want extreme speed without sacrificing visual quality. The new AOC Agon Pro AGP277QKM features a 27-inch QD-Mini LED panel with a sharp 2560 x 1440 resolution and an ultra-fast 425Hz refresh rate, making it a strong option for competitive gaming, esports, and high-quality entertainment.

The biggest highlight is its 425Hz refresh rate, which is designed to deliver exceptionally smooth motion in fast-paced games. Whether you play shooters, racing titles, or action-heavy multiplayer games, the higher refresh rate can help reduce motion blur and improve responsiveness. AOC has paired the display with Adaptive-Sync support, along with AMD FreeSync compatibility, helping reduce screen tearing and stuttering during gameplay.

The Agon Pro AGP277QKM also focuses heavily on response time. It is rated at 0.5ms GtG and 0.3ms MPRT, giving gamers the speed needed for quick reactions and precise movements. These specifications make the monitor especially appealing for competitive players who need every possible advantage during intense matches.

Visual performance is another major selling point. The monitor uses QD-Mini LED technology with 1,152 backlight zones, allowing more accurate local dimming compared to standard LED displays. It also includes four dimming modes, which help improve contrast by producing deeper blacks and brighter highlights.

For HDR content, the display carries VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and offers up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. This should make games, movies, and HDR videos look more vibrant and immersive, especially in scenes with bright light effects, explosions, shadows, or high-contrast environments.

Color accuracy also appears to be a key focus. AOC says the Agon Pro AGP277QKM covers 100% of the sRGB color space based on CIE 1931 and 98% of the DCI-P3 color space based on CIE 1976. That level of color coverage means the monitor may also appeal to content creators, video editors, and digital artists who want a fast gaming display that can still handle creative work.

For connectivity, the monitor includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1, one USB upstream port, and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. This setup gives users flexibility for connecting gaming PCs, modern consoles, and accessories.

AOC has also included several quality-of-life features, including picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes, flicker-free technology, customizable shortcut keys, and a sleek gaming-focused design.

In China, the AOC Agon Pro AGP277QKM has launched at CNY 3,254, which is roughly $486. While global availability has not been fully detailed yet, the monitor is expected to reach more markets in the future.

With its 425Hz refresh rate, QD-Mini LED panel, 1440p resolution, strong HDR performance, and wide color coverage, the AOC Agon Pro AGP277QKM looks like a serious contender for gamers who want both speed and premium image quality in one display.
