AOC is turning heads again with two budget-friendly gaming monitors designed to deliver premium performance without the premium price tag. The new U32G4U and Q27G4SRU target very different players but share one goal: smooth, responsive, color-rich gameplay powered by a Fast IPS panel and a rapid 1ms GtG response time.
The U32G4U goes big on flexibility. This 31.5-inch model features a dual-mode setup that lets you switch between razor-sharp UHD at up to 160Hz and ultra-fast FHD at up to 320Hz. It’s a smart solution for gamers who want both cinematic detail in single-player titles and maximum speed for competitive play. Expect vibrant visuals from a wide color gamut and HDR400 support, while modern connectivity is covered with dual HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub offering four USB ports for peripherals. It’s also compatible with G-Sync and supports FreeSync Premium to minimize tearing and stutter.
If you prefer to lock in a single resolution, the Q27G4SRU is built for pure speed at 1440p. This 27-inch QHD monitor pushes refresh rates up to 320Hz, ideal for fast-paced shooters and esports. It shares much of the tech DNA with its larger sibling, including the Fast IPS panel and 1ms GtG response, and adds detailed color coverage figures of 93.7% DCI-P3 and 136.9% sRGB for rich, accurate tones. AOC hasn’t yet listed the color gamut for the U32G4U, but overall feature parity between the two models is strong.
These two displays neatly map to different gaming priorities. The Q27G4SRU serves players who want the sweet spot of QHD clarity with extreme refresh rates, while the U32G4U offers a best-of-both-worlds approach by pairing immersive 4K fidelity with a lightning-fast 1080p mode when every millisecond counts.
