AMD and Maingear Celebrate 12 Million Space Marine 2 Players With Custom Gaming PC Giveaway
AMD has joined forces with Maingear for a new giveaway built around Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, celebrating the game’s impressive milestone of more than 12 million players since launch. To mark the occasion, one winner will receive a custom Space Marine 2-themed Maingear MG-1 gaming desktop, along with a copy of the game.
The grand prize is a special-edition Maingear MG-1 Warhammer SM2 Edition gaming PC, designed for fans of the brutal sci-fi action franchise. AMD has not revealed the full hardware specifications of the custom system, including the exact CPU, GPU, RAM, or storage setup. However, the prize package is valued at roughly $3,400, placing it in high-end gaming desktop territory.
That estimated value puts the giveaway PC close to premium Maingear MG-1 configurations, which can include powerful components such as an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics, 32GB of DDR5 memory, and a 2TB SSD. While AMD has not confirmed whether the Space Marine 2-themed desktop uses the same parts, the valuation suggests the grand prize should be capable of delivering a strong PC gaming experience.
The giveaway includes a total of eleven winners. One grand prize winner will receive the custom gaming PC and a Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 game key. Ten additional winners will each receive a game key, valued at around $60.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has become one of the standout action games in recent years, drawing millions of players with its intense third-person combat, massive enemy hordes, and faithful recreation of the Warhammer 40K universe. The 12 million-player milestone highlights the game’s continued momentum and strong community interest more than two years after its September 2024 release.
The competition is open to eligible participants aged 18 and older in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Ireland, India, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. Some regional exclusions apply, including Quebec, the Australian Capital Territory, and South Australia. No purchase is required to enter.
Entries remain open until October 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. For Warhammer fans, AMD enthusiasts, and PC gamers looking for a major hardware upgrade, this Space Marine 2-themed Maingear gaming PC giveaway is one of the more eye-catching gaming promotions currently available.
