Retroid fans looking for a new retro gaming handheld now have a few discounted options on Amazon. The Retroid Pocket Classic, Retroid Pocket Flip 2, and Retroid Pocket 5 have all received price drops through Retroid’s Amazon store, making them more affordable than before.
However, there is an important catch: these Amazon discounts are not as aggressive as the permanent price reductions recently introduced through Retroid’s own store. In some cases, buying directly from Retroid may get you a lower price and better hardware.

Again, the better deal seems to be available directly from Retroid. The Pocket 5 is listed there for $179, and that price applies to the newer 12GB RAM model released in July.
