Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G launched in India with 90Hz display, metal body, and up to 2TB expandable storage
Acer has expanded its tablet lineup in India with the launch of the Iconia Tab 11 5G, a budget-focused Android tablet designed for users who want a larger screen, mobile connectivity, and practical everyday performance without spending flagship-level money.
The new Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G arrives with a sleek metal body that gives it a more premium feel than many entry-level tablets. It measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs around 500 grams, making it portable enough for daily use, whether you are watching videos, attending online classes, browsing the web, or working while traveling. The tablet is available in a Slate Gray color option.
One of the main highlights of the Iconia Tab 11 5G is its 10.95-inch IPS display. The screen offers a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel resolution, which should be suitable for streaming, reading, video calls, and light productivity tasks. Acer has also included a 90Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and animations feel smoother compared to standard 60Hz panels. The display is rated at 450 nits of brightness, which should be adequate for indoor use and some outdoor viewing.
Under the hood, the Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek 8755 chipset with clock speeds of up to 2.4GHz. The tablet comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and is offered in two storage variants: 128GB and 256GB. For users who need more room for apps, videos, documents, and offline media, the device supports microSD card expansion of up to 2TB.
For photography and video calling, the tablet includes a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and flash. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies, online meetings, and video chats. While tablets are not usually bought for advanced photography, these cameras should be useful for scanning documents, attending virtual classes, and staying connected with friends and family.
The Iconia Tab 11 5G packs a 7,400mAh battery, which should provide solid backup for daily entertainment and productivity. It also supports 18W charging. The inclusion of 5G connectivity makes it a useful option for users who do not want to rely only on Wi-Fi. The tablet supports cellular connectivity with voice calling, making it more versatile as a travel-friendly device.
Acer has included a dedicated SIM slot along with a hybrid slot that can be used for either a second SIM card or a microSD card. Other features include four speakers for a better media experience, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a fingerprint reader for convenient unlocking. The tablet runs Android 16 out of the box.
In India, the Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G is priced at INR 23,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is listed at INR 26,999. Acer is also offering bundles that include accessories such as a stylus and keyboard, which could make the tablet more appealing for students, remote workers, and users looking for a lightweight productivity setup.
With its metal design, 90Hz display, 5G support, voice calling, expandable storage, and accessory options, the Acer Iconia Tab 11 5G is positioned as a practical Android tablet for entertainment, study, and everyday work. It could be a strong choice for buyers in India looking for an affordable 5G tablet with a large screen and flexible storage options.
