Abxylute Confirms Launch Date and Pricing for M5 and M6 Magnetic Mobile Controllers

Abxylute M5 and M6 Magnetic Mobile Controllers Get Kickstarter Launch Date and Early Bird Prices

Abxylute is getting ready to expand its mobile gaming accessory lineup with two new magnetic smartphone controllers: the Abxylute M5 and Abxylute M6. Both models are designed for landscape gaming and will debut through a Kickstarter campaign launching on October 6.

The company first previewed the M5 and M6 in August, introducing them as follow-ups to its earlier snap-on mobile controller design. Like that previous model, the new controllers attach magnetically to a smartphone, making them convenient options for gamers who want a more console-like experience on mobile devices.

The Abxylute M5 is aimed at users who prefer a slimmer, lighter controller that can stay attached to a phone even when not actively gaming. Its compact design makes it more pocket-friendly and better suited for casual use. However, the thin profile comes with a few compromises. The M5 does not include a built-in battery, so it connects directly through USB-C. It also lacks vibration motors, which means it will not offer haptic feedback during gameplay.

For early backers, the Abxylute M5 will be available at an early bird price of $59. Once it reaches regular retail availability, the price is expected to increase to $84.99.

The Abxylute M6, meanwhile, is the more feature-packed option. It has a thicker and heavier build, but that extra size allows it to include more gaming-focused hardware. The M6 comes with a 500mAh battery, dual vibration motors, larger triggers, and protruding joysticks that should offer a more traditional controller feel.

Unlike the M5, the Abxylute M6 supports Bluetooth 5.3, which may allow it to connect not only to smartphones but also to other compatible devices. Its feature list also includes a 6-axis gyroscope, a dedicated macro button, RGB lighting, and detachable magnetic grips. These additions make the M6 the more versatile choice for players who want deeper control options and a more immersive handheld gaming experience.

The Abxylute M6 will launch with an early bird Kickstarter price of $65. Its final retail price is listed at $89.99.

At the moment, Abxylute has not confirmed when the M5 and M6 will begin shipping. More details, including delivery estimates and full campaign information, are expected to be shared when the Kickstarter page goes live.

With mobile gaming, cloud gaming, and game streaming continuing to grow, magnetic smartphone controllers are becoming increasingly popular among players who want better precision than touchscreen controls can provide. The Abxylute M5 appears built for portability and simplicity, while the Abxylute M6 targets gamers who want extra features, wireless support, and a fuller controller experience.

For mobile gamers looking for a new controller in 2026, the Abxylute M5 and M6 could be worth watching when their Kickstarter campaign opens on October 6.
