Introducing the Latest Home Theater Enhancements: Acer Vero HL6810 and HL6810ATV Projectors

Acer has recently expanded its home theater offerings with the launch of two innovative smart laser projectors, the Acer Vero HL6810 and HL6810ATV. Designed to enhance the viewing experience, these models are ideal for movie buffs and sports enthusiasts alike.

The Vero HL68 Series projectors come equipped with a cutting-edge hybrid laser and LED light source. This technology enables the projectors to emit up to 4,000 ANSI lumens of brightness. Paired with an impressive lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, these devices promise long-term reliability and vivid image quality.

With a high-resolution output, both projectors boast 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) capabilities, ensuring that the content displayed is sharp and fully detailed. They support HDR10 and HLG high dynamic range formats, allowing for a more dynamic and engaging viewing experience.

The throw ratio range from 1.15 to 1.5 is particularly noteworthy, as it permits users to create a 100-inch image from just about 2.5 meters away, making these projectors versatile in different space configurations. A dynamic contrast ratio of 50,000:1 and 105% Rec.709 color gamut coverage contribute to the superior picture quality, with true-to-life colors and deeper blacks.

A standout feature for sports fans is the specialized Football mode. When activated, this mode tweaks the image settings to project a more life-like and vibrant picture, perfect for experiencing the big game on an expansive screen.

A well-rounded set of features, these projectors also include a built-in 10W speaker, delivering adequate sound quality for an immersive audio-visual experience. The BlueLight Shield technology aims to reduce eye strain during long viewing sessions. Additionally, the 1.3x zoom, and comprehensive keystone and corner correction capabilities ensure easy setup and alignment of the display.

The HL6810ATV model distinguishes itself with an Android TV dongle, giving users convenient access to stream content from popular platforms including Disney+, YouTube, and Netflix. This functionality transforms the projector into an all-in-one entertainment hub.

Both devices offer a variety of ports, including HDMI 2.0b, USB-A 2.0, and audio out, among others. This makes it simple to connect a range of multimedia sources. With various control options available such as physical buttons, a remote control, smartphone compatibility, or voice commands, users can choose their preferred method to manage their viewing experience.

Pricing for these high-tech projectors starts at €1,599 for the Acer Vero HL6810, while the HL6810ATV is tagged at €1,699. The initial release is scheduled for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) regions, with the HL6810ATV launching in June and the HL6810 set for an August release. Details regarding availability in other markets, such as North America, have yet to be revealed.

These projectors from Acer’s lineup are poised to deliver an exceptional home cinema experience, marrying advanced technological features with user-friendly controls for maximum enjoyment. Whether you’re setting up for a movie night or rallying friends for a game day viewing party, the Vero HL6810 and HL6810ATV are crafted to elevate your leisure time to new immersive heights.
