Dreame is stepping beyond home cleaning gear with a brand-new accessory: its first-ever power bank. The company has introduced the Dreame Air Power 17 Magnetic Portable Power Bank in China, offering two battery sizes—5,000 mAh and 10,000 mAh—in a compact, travel-friendly design. While it’s being promoted as a convenient match for the iPhone 17 series, it’s designed to work with many phones and other devices that support wireless charging.
One of the biggest selling points is magnetic wireless charging. The Air Power 17 can deliver up to 15W to a smartphone when charging wirelessly, helping you top up your battery without needing to plug in a cable. It also supports wireless charging at up to 5W for compatible smartwatches, which makes it useful as an everyday carry option if you want one charger for multiple gadgets.
Prefer wired charging or need faster top-ups for certain devices? There’s also a USB-C port that outputs up to 20W to a connected device. That same USB-C port is used to recharge the power bank itself. To make it easy to check how much power is left before heading out, Dreame includes LED indicators that show the remaining battery level at a glance.
Dreame also built in a slim integrated stand on the back of the power bank, a practical touch for hands-free viewing. It’s the kind of detail that can make a difference if you’re charging while watching videos, taking a call, or using StandBy-style features during a commute or at a desk.
In terms of size, both versions share the same footprint at 103 x 58.4 mm (about 4.1 x 2.3 inches), keeping them small enough for pockets and small bags. The main difference is thickness and weight: the 5,000 mAh model is just 8.0 mm (around 0.3 inches) thick and weighs 123 g (about 4.3 oz), while the 10,000 mAh version is thicker at 12.8 mm (around 0.5 inches) and weighs 189 g (about 6.7 oz).
Pricing in China is set at CNY 219 (roughly $31), and it’s already available through local retailers. For now, Dreame hasn’t confirmed whether the Air Power 17 Magnetic Portable Power Bank will launch in other regions such as the US, so anyone interested outside China will have to wait for official word on wider availability.
